Industrial Strength BBS Software for your Amiga
DLG v1.1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"All the news that is the news"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're not familiar with us, you're not alone. DLG Development is the
third owner of DLG Pro in as many years. The original company, TelePro
Technologies, sold everything to ATIS in late 1994, and in late 1995 ATIS
was closed down by its parent company. We realize that this tends to
worry some people and sympathise completely. A lot of reassurances can
be given, but the proof is in the pudding as my mom always said. If
you've stuck around with DLG for this long, give us a few more months and
I think you'll really be happy with what you see. Watch our smoke!
Currently in the Works: Now that DLG 1.1 is out the door, our next
priority is to provide a downloadable demo of DLG 1.1 for prospective
buyers. This allows you to know for certain what you're buying into with
DLG Pro, to ask better questions to clarify certain points, and be
satisfied that in the end, you made the right buying decision. This demo
is almost complete and has entered beta stage testing at this point.
March 1996 -- DLG 1.1 is now available to all registered DLG users! The
first major project that we have undertaken is to get DLG 1.1 out the
door and into your hands. DLG 1.1 is a free upgrade to DLG 1.0 owners
and provides quite a few enhancements as well as the inevitable bug fix
or two.
February 1996 --DLG Development announces the release of the new DLG 1.1
Developer Kit, freely distributed as DLG11DK.LHA. This contains
everything you need to create programs to work well with DLG. It has
includes, autodocs, examples, and more.
November 1995 -- DLG Development announces the recovery of the lost "DLG
1.7" upgrade code, and an agreement with former ATIS programmer Bob
Stouder to complete the implementation of this code and its release to
DLG owners worldwide. This new version will be dubbed DLG 1.1.
November 1995 -- DLG Development implements an agressive support
structure designed to get DLG support to as many places as possible.
Many support sites are created across the world, and all are linked
together to provide as much consistency as possible.
October 1995 -- DLG Development purchases all rights to DLG Professional
BB/OS and PDQMail and PDQUtilities from ATIS. Unfortunately recent work
on the newest version of DLG is lost, so DLG Development will have to
start more or less from scratch.
